Better Futures

Colmar Brunton is New Zealand’s most recognised market, social and insights agency. They are known for their deep understanding of human behaviour and their ability to draw actionable insights from multiple data sources. They have won international awards for their research.

This piece of research called ‘Better Futures’ was as a result of 11 years monitoring the issues NZERS care most deeply about and what they are most concerned (worry) about.

POV. Pastors and Christian leaders are constantly looking for both relevant and reliable sources of information. There is only a limited amount of time to read about the issues facing our world. Yet we want to be relevant especially when it comes to our speaking. As John Stott famously said to a class of seminary students holding up the daily newspaper in one hand and his bible in the other, “your task as preachers is to speak about the intersection of”……….. and he dramatically enveloped his bible around the newspaper. In other words make sense of what is going on in the world through the lens of the Bible. Christians want to know what the Bible says on the pressing issues of the day.

This study is one such ‘newspaper’ that will help you achieve exactly that. It is based on the survey results of a broad range of NZERS. And perhaps best news of all it won’t cost you a cent.
