Dear Pastors
Let’s be honest – happy marriages are not exactly a walk in the park. A happy and functional marriage (that has a low level of conflict) needs intentionality, skill, wisdom and a lot of grace. As some of you will know, I believe that the local Church is a wonderful place to bless, encourage and if necessary help marriages and family life in general. Further, marriage and parenting is also a call to discipleship and to following Jesus every single day such that our spouse and children are loved and supported to become the people God has created them to be.
It is for this reason that I am absolutely delighted to partner with Family Life NZ to bring Ron and Nan Deal to Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton next week and to host a pastors workshop in each of these cities. I am very confident that an investment of a few dollars and 3.5 hours of your time will be so worth it and leave you with not only a ton of encouragement but also a heap of resources that you can use in your church to bless every marriage and every family in your congregation.
